At Old Jeffrey we offer our clients 4 types of suits:
1) READY TO WEAR SUIT
Our collection of ready-made suits come with a standard pattern and it is the shoulders of each client that define the size for each one.
We would detect the client's size and, once the suit model was selected, the garment would adjust to the body measurements in order to leave the garment perfect. The alteration process would be free and carried out by our specialist tailors.
We have suit models in both 2-piece format (€469.95) and 3-piece format ( €569.95). You can see some of our suit models at the following link: Tailored Suits .
IMPORTANT : We have more models in store that are not available on the website.
2) MADE TO MEASURE SUIT AND 3) BESPOKE SUIT
We offer two bespoke tailoring services, that is, (i) MADE TO MEASURE (MTM) tailoring service and (ii) BESPOKE tailoring service. The difference between both methodologies lies, mainly, in the preparation process after taking the client's measurements; We explain it below.
1) Preparation of the pattern after taking the client's measurements. In the case of Made to Measure tailoring, to obtain the client's pattern, we use witnesses with a base pattern from which we make corrections and obtain the client's final pattern. On the other hand, in the Bespoke tailoring service, taking measurements is direct and obtaining the pattern is manual and is carried out through calculations and generation of curvatures based on tailor's rules.
2) Cutting the fabric. For the Made to Measure tailoring case, the pattern obtained for each client is digitized and the scrap of fabric chosen to make the garment is cut very precisely by a cutting machine. On the contrary, in the Bespoke service, our tailor will cut the garment manually with special tailor's scissors for this purpose.
3) Assembly of the garment. In the case of Made To Measure tailoring, our sewing team is made up of 10 people who will carry out the final preparation of the garment. For this case, each member of the team will specialize in a part of the garment (sleeves, front, etc.) and, ultimately, the garment will be assembled together. In this process, the sewing will be carried out in a mixed way, that is, long stitches with a sewing machine and details finished by hand. On the other hand, in the case of artisanal tailoring (Bespoke), the complete tailoring will be carried out manually by our specialized tailor.
For both services, the client's measurements would be taken from scratch and each of the details of the garment would be personalized. We have more than 3000 fabric references from 12 different suppliers (Italy, England, France and Spain)
4) MADE TO ORDER SUIT
Additionally, we have a intermediate service between clothing and custom tailoring which is called service MADE TO ORDER (MTO) , That is, based on the pattern of our tailor-made suits, we give the option of making a new suit from scratch by selecting the fabric, as well as focusing on some details of the garment's design. This is an ideal service for:
1) Clients for whom our tailoring pattern fits but who, however, are looking to choose the combination of fabrics with which to make their new suit.
2) Clients with a marked difference in size between the frock coat and the pants. In this case, they could request that the frock coat and pants be made independently and in the appropriate size.
In any case, since there is such a variety of possibilities, we would recommend, in any case, scheduling an appointment with one of our tailors. To do this, you can request a first informative appointment without obligation by writing to us at contact@oldjeffrey.com
